Deadline for English Educators to Submit the Full Text to the ELT National Conference

Upcoming ELT National Conference in Tay Bac University, Are you ready to submit your full texts by August 10th, 2014?

1. Objectives of the conference:

• To reflect on the current English teaching practices at colleges and universities in the Northwest area of Vietnam.
• To propose effective solutions in order to improve English training quality in colleges, universities in the Northwest area of Vietnam.
• To create opportunities for English educators from colleges, universities in the Northwest area to exchange experiences, to learn from one another, and to discuss efficient English teaching approaches for students majoring in English.

2. Theme/Topics of the conference 

Conference Theme: The Current State of Teaching English to Major Students in Colleges & Universities in the Northwest Vietnam.

Topics:

• Curriculum Development
• Assessment and Evaluation
• Teaching Language Skills
• ICT in ELT
• Learner Autonomy
• Teaching and Learning Approach & Methods

3. Requirements

A full text with no more than 4,000 words including a both Vietnamese and English abstract (about 300 words), font "Times New Roman", size 13. Author bios are expected. The presentation can be either English or Vietnamese.
