Readers' stories, "Music in my life"

The most magnificent and beautiful thing in this life to me is music. Listening to songs and playing musical instruments all day helps me to relax, de–stress, and get motivations to achieve my targets.
Let me tell you how amazingly and stunningly music has affected my life. Heading back to the days I was a kid, music did not mean as much to me as now. I was only a nerd who always did what everyone else said and told me to, even if they called me a dump, I was fine to adapt. I did not know what my parents watched on TV for the whole day: a group of 2 males and 2 females, playing instruments and singing to the crowd. “What is that freaking thing” I said to myself.
Then one day, I came home with a very horrible test result from school, it was my first parents’ yelling ever in my life. I was drowned, sad, and at the moment that my every sanctity was faded away, all of a sudden, on the radio was a song called “When you believe” performed by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. I am sure that for the very first time, those incredible melodies touched my heart and brought me to a new level of feeling. I concurred that I used to cry a lot when hearing the song, and after that night, my addiction and my love for music begun.
Since that day until now, I have learned to play instruments, to raise my vocal, to sing with harmonies and choirs at school, and a lot more musical things. In addition, I have been idolizing a few musical genius and legends such as: Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams, so on.
I strongly believe that music possesses the power of controlling all sorts of emotions, whether that is sadness or happiness. My whole life until now has witnessed a great number of stories, sad or joy whatever, had a present of music there. Once I had a friend, she told me that her father passed away for a long time and she really missed him so much. I knew I am not so well with words that I told her to sit down with me, I picked up the guitar then and played the song “Dance with my father” for her. She burst into tear after the song, and she made a commitment to me as her soul mate that she would get better and extricate the pang, though it is uneasy, and I am glad she made it. That was an exact moment as I recognized how magical music can do to our lives. Once you have approached it, you could never leave at ease.
Music influences human beings in a significant number of methods. To me, music is not just listening and enjoying songs, it has become a belief, something that is spiritual. Music is truly critical in my life and it brings me closer to my relatives. For the rest of my life, if an ecstasy of happiness is always a present, it is music that I owe a lot of thanks and grateful thoughts.
