Today one of the most respectful lecturers at my university has gone to the USA for his 2 years learning in Hawaii. I was busy with many other things and I forgot to give him the best wishes before his flight, which makes me a little unhappy now.
Anyway, I am really delightful to see his smile on some photos that one of my other teachers took at Noi Bai airport. His family including his beloved Mom, his wife and his relatives were at the airport to say goodbye to him.
During his many years working as a lecturer at my school, he has been proving himself to be a both talented and generous person who is always willing to share all his knowledge as well as encouragement to us. Despite all his efforts for a better education, he is such a modest teacher who speaks just a little bit, but always tries to do the best and the newest things, even millions times as many as what he says. At my school, he is loved and respected by most students who used to be his students because of all those precious personalities. Honestly, I have never taken part in any his lessons. However, I have met him since I was a freshman. I met him the first time at Community English Club (CEC) – a student organization established by him. Thanks to his enthusiastic support through guiding me to join activities held by CEC, I did have a good environment to practice not only my English writing skill but also many other useful life skills.
There are no words which are enough to express love of students at my school for him. However, if there are only 3 phrases of words to describe him, we would like to use three ones which are “motivate mind”, “creative actions” and “critical thinking”. At this time, many students at my school talk a lot about him. They said that they were fond of his fantastic lecturers at class and all of them were so glad to know he had gained a Fulbright scholarship. About me, this is not the first time I have written about him, but this is the first time I have felt that I miss him so much. Like me, many students at my school may miss him so much, too. We will have not seen him for 2 years. Moreover, when he comes back, we might graduate from our school and move Thai Nguyen for other places to build ourselves with our own careers.
We do not know whether it is possible for us to meet him after 2 years more or not, but we all pray for him a great time in the USA with a lot of achievements. We will never forget him because he is the man who has created many values for us!
In general, we do believe that he can gain what he wants!
Take care, our dear lecturer!
This post is just a small gift we want to send to you! Goodbye, our handsome dad!
